In plain words.
Pinealon is a very small . It is made of just three amino acids (Glu-Asp-Arg).
It comes from a Russian group led by a scientist named Khavinson. They call their tiny peptides "bioregulators." The idea is that these short peptides can reach into cells and nudge how genes work in the brain.
That idea is not standard science. Outside labs have not confirmed it. So treat it as one lab's theory, not a proven fact.
It is sold "for research only." It is not a medicine.
What people use it for.
People use it to try to help an aging brain. Think older adults with slipping memory or focus.
Some people use it for brain fog, including after illness. Others run it as part of a Khavinson "anti-aging" routine, often twice a year.
The studied group is older adults, around age 60 and up, plus cells in a dish. If you are young and healthy, even the lab's own work was not about you.
Does it actually work?
Probably not in any clear way we can stand behind. The proof is very thin.
There are zero independent trials. About 15 papers come from Khavinson's own institute. Around 10 animal studies exist. No outside team has run a real Phase 2 or we can check.
Here is the key problem in plain words. When all the evidence comes from the one lab that promotes the product, that is not a body of proof. It is one voice. We need other labs to repeat it before we believe it.

unprovenHarmless is a guess, not a finding. With no independent trial, nobody actually measured what it does in people. And since the lab's own work shows it poking at cell-growth signals, the cancer question stays wide open.
How you take it.
There is no proven dose. What people use comes from the Khavinson clinic style, not from solid trials.
The common pattern is 10 mg a day for 10 days, given as a nose spray or a small shot under the skin. People often repeat that round twice a year, in spring and fall. Some push to 20 mg a day for 20 days. A first round should stay on the lower side.
Set a clear stop rule. Pick a simple memory or focus self-check before you start. If nothing has moved after two full rounds (about a year of use), stop. Do not run it all year long.
What to watch out for.
The serious stuff
This changes cell-growth signals in the lab's own work. Because of that, there is a worry about mixing it with cancer. If you or a close family member has active or recent cancer, do not run it.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, skip it. There is zero human safety data for that.
The common stuff
We do not have a real list of common side effects. The lab work has not flagged big problems, but "unknown" is the honest word here, not "safe."
Talk to a real doctor first, especially if you have a brain or memory diagnosis. We are not your doctor.
Where people get it.
There is no clean, approved way to buy it. Here are the lanes from least bad to worst.
- Brand. None that is . In Russia it is sold more like a cosmetic, not a US-legal medicine.
- . A few US pharmacies make it, around $80 to $200 a month. But few carry it, and the weak evidence means even doctors do not trust it much.
- Research-only (). This is the main supply, about $30 to $100 a month. Cheap to make, so it is easy to find. Sold "for research only."
- . Overseas powder. Coverage comes and goes because few people want it. Illegal to import for human use.
Our honest take.
If your memory or focus is genuinely slipping, that deserves a real checkup, not a research . A healthy adult who just wants to poke at the Khavinson idea can run a single short round with low expectations and a stop rule set before the first dose, and resist the urge to pile three other bioregulators on top. That is how one experiment quietly turns into five.
