An 'ID test' is when a trusted member of a Discord/Telegram peptide group sends a sample of a vendor's product to an independent mass-spec lab and posts the result. ID testing replaces the vendor COA (which gray-market chats assume can be forged or recycled). A passing ID test means the molecule matches the label; failures result in vendor blacklisting. ID testing is how the gray-market layer compensates for the lack of regulatory oversight.
