COA (Certificate of Analysis)
Third-party lab report verifying purity and identity of a peptide batch.
A COA is a third-party lab report stating that a peptide vial contains the molecule the label claims, at the purity claimed, with contaminants below safety thresholds. A real COA shows: identity confirmation (mass spec match to expected molecular weight), purity (HPLC ≥98%), endotoxin level (<0.5 EU/mg for injectables), moisture content, batch number matching the vial, and the testing lab name + signature + date. Vendor-issued COAs vary in honesty; the gold standard is independent ID testing.
