Subcutaneous (subq, SC) injection deposits the peptide into the fatty layer between the skin and muscle. It's the standard route for almost every peptide on this site — abdomen (pinch a roll of fat), outer thigh, or back of the upper arm. Needle goes in at 45-90° depending on body composition. Subq absorption is slower than IM (intramuscular), which is usually what you want for sustained-release peptides.
