Insulin syringe
Small-barrel syringe with U-100 unit markings, used for subq peptide injection.
Insulin syringes are sized in mL barrel volume (0.3mL, 0.5mL, 1mL) and calibrated in U-100 units (100 units = 1 mL). The 0.3mL (30u) is the finest reading and good for small doses; 0.5mL (50u) is the standard; 1mL (100u) handles bigger volumes like high-dose tirzepatide. Most peptides are injected with a 31-gauge × ½-inch needle. Always rotate injection sites and dispose in a sharps container.
